Privacy Strips – Cut to Panel Length
Pre-cut strips save you the measuring and cutting. You thread them in panel by panel, and the length is accurate to the millimeter at the end of every run. This pays off above all where the fence runs straight and all panels are the same length.
Materials Compared
Polypropylene is the standard: dimensionally stable, opaque, unaffected by moisture. The series differ mainly in their surface – smooth, embossed with a relief, or matte. Polyester fleece drapes more softly and looks textile rather than technical, but it is thicker and takes a little more force to thread in.
When Threading Them In
Work from top to bottom and always in the same direction, otherwise the pattern will visibly shift from panel to panel. Folding the strip down the middle before starting makes it easier to get through at the crossing points.
