Questions and Answers
Die Mindesthöhe ist in den Landesbauordnungen geregelt: Bis zu einer Absturzhöhe von 12 Metern sind in der Regel 90 cm vorgeschrieben, darüber 110 cm. Wir fertigen jedes Balkongeländer exakt auf Ihr Maß vor, sodass die Vorgaben sicher eingehalten werden.
Zum Schutz von Kindern darf das lichte Maß zwischen den senkrechten Füllstäben höchstens 12 cm betragen. Diesen Abstand berücksichtigen wir bei der Fertigung Ihres Geländers automatisch.
Waagerechte Streben sind kritisch, weil Kinder daran wie an einer Leiter hochklettern können. In den meisten Landesbauordnungen sind sie ab bestimmten Absturzhöhen unzulässig – sichere Alternativen sind senkrechte Füllstäbe, Glas oder Lochblech.
Zur Wahl stehen rostfreier Edelstahl (V2A/V4A), feuerverzinkter und optional pulverbeschichteter Stahl (z. B. RAL 7016 Anthrazit) sowie Varianten mit Glas-, Lochblech- oder Holzfüllung. Alle Ausführungen sind wetterfest, langlebig und pflegeleicht.
Die Montage erfolgt je nach Bausituation aufgesetzt auf die Balkonplatte oder vorgesetzt an die Stirnseite der Platte. Verwendet werden ausschließlich bauaufsichtlich zugelassene Schwerlast- bzw. Verbundanker, die die Lasten sicher in den tragenden Beton ableiten.
Ihr Balkongeländer wird millimetergenau als montagefertiger Bausatz handgefertigt in Deutschland geliefert. Die vorbereiteten Bauteile ermöglichen eine schnelle, normkonforme Montage vor Ort – auf Wunsch unterstützen wir Sie dabei.
Ein Balkongeländer sichert eine begehbare Balkonplatte ab. Ein französischer Balkon ist dagegen ein Geländer direkt vor einer bodentiefen Fenster- oder Türöffnung ohne begehbare Fläche. Beide dienen als Absturzsicherung nach denselben Höhenvorgaben.
Die Gesamtkosten hängen stark vom Material und der Befestigungsart ab. Da wir uns bei Kirchberger Metall auf maßgefertigte Bausätze zur einfachen Selbstmontage spezialisiert haben, teilen sich die Kosten bei einer Montage durch einen regionalen Fachbetrieb meist wie folgt auf:
- Materialkosten: Je nach Modell liegt der Meterpreis für feuerverzinkten Stahl ab ca. 199 €, für Edelstahl ab ca. 278 € und für moderne Glasgeländer ab ca. 396 €.
- Montagekosten: Für den fachgerechten Einbau vor Ort müssen Sie im Schnitt mit 50 € bis 150 € pro laufendem Meter kalkulieren.
Insgesamt kostet ein Meter Balkongeländer also inklusive Montage meist zwischen 250 € und 550 €. Hochwertige Glas- oder Designgeländer liegen inklusive Einbau oft bei 500 € bis 750 € pro Meter.
Unser Spartipp: Unsere Geländer werden millimetergenau als montagefertiger Bausatz geliefert. Durch die unkomplizierte Selbstmontage können Sie sich die externen Handwerkerkosten sparen.
