Mechanical burglary protection is the most effective and at the same time most affordable retrofit: unlike purely electronic systems, it physically deters burglars. Window grille, security bar, or extendable grille – what's the difference?
- Window Grille: permanently welded grille (square, round, or decorative bars) for lasting, classic protection – optionally available with a lock for opening.
- Security Bar ("Security Bar"): discreet stainless steel bar, more affordable than a grille; models III and IV additionally offer anti-saw protection with an internal rolling bar.
- Extendable Grille (Flexi Window Grill): infinitely adjustable to the window width and – patented – for opening; ideal if the window needs to remain accessible.
Why mechanical burglary protection?
Motion detectors and surveillance cameras are useful, but alone they do not provide physical protection. Retrofitting burglar-resistant windows is expensive. Sturdy window grilles, extendable grilles, or stainless steel security bars are the cost-effective, effective alternative – and enhance the facade visually. Another advantage: the window can remain tilted or open despite the protection.
Custom-made and easy to install
All products are custom-made to your reveal dimensions – simply enter the measurements into the online configurator and receive the price immediately. The mounting type is selectable: on the exterior wall with or without a windowsill, or in the reveal. Special security screws with a star drive are used for tamper-proof installation. You can install it yourself – you'll find the appropriate mounting kit for your wall type in the shop – or commission our installation team.
Materials and Finishes
You can choose between rust-free V2A stainless steel (brushed), hot-dip galvanized steel, or hot-dip galvanized and additionally powder-coated steel in any RAL color. The bars consist of solid material; manufacturing is professionally welded according to DIN EN 1090.

Ein fest verschweißtes Fenstergitter bietet dauerhaften Schutz, eine Sicherheitsstange ist die dezente, preiswerte Alternative (Modelle III/IV mit Durchsägeschutz), und ein Ausziehgitter lässt sich öffnen – ideal, wenn das Fenster erreichbar bleiben soll. Am wirksamsten in Kombination mit elektronischen Systemen.
Ein Fenstergitter ist ein fest verschweißtes Gitter (auf Wunsch zum Öffnen mit Schloss). Eine Sicherheitsstange (Security Bar) ist eine einzelne, dezente Edelstahlstange – günstiger, die Modelle III/IV mit innenliegender Rollstange gegen Durchsägen. Ein Ausziehgitter ist stufenlos auf die Fensterbreite verstellbar und patentiert zum Öffnen.
Wahlweise aus rostfreiem Edelstahl V2A (geschliffen), feuerverzinktem Stahl oder feuerverzinktem und zusätzlich pulverbeschichtetem Stahl in jeder RAL-Farbe. Die Stäbe sind aus massivem Vollmaterial, die Fertigung erfolgt fachgerecht verschweißt nach DIN EN 1090.

Die Befestigungsart ist wählbar (Außenwand mit oder ohne Fensterbrett oder in der Laibung). Zur Montage dienen spezielle Sicherheitsschrauben mit Einschlagstern, die sich nach der Montage nicht mehr lösen lassen. Das passende Befestigungsset je nach Wand wählen Sie im Shop; Selbstmontage ist einfach möglich, ein Montageservice auf Anfrage.
Ja. Das Fenster kann hinter Gitter oder Stange weiterhin gekippt oder geöffnet bleiben. Fenstergitter fertigen wir auf Wunsch mit Scharnier und Schloss, und das Ausziehgitter lässt sich über ein Druckschloss öffnen – praktisch zum Reinigen, Lüften oder als zweiter Fluchtweg.
