Clamping Strips, Clamping Rails and Unrolling Aids
The privacy screen is held in the mesh by friction – nothing more. In wind it works its way out at the ends, and after two years the first run sits crooked. That is why every end of a run needs a fixing.
What Does What
Clamping rails sit at the end of an individual strip and clamp it against the vertical rod. Clamping strip sets cover the full post height and close off the run neatly at the post – they are available separately for 6/5/6 and for 8/6/8, because the gap between the rods grows with the wire thickness. Do check for the right version here: a set for 6/5/6 cannot be closed on an 8/6/8 panel.
Unrolling Aid
For roll goods. The roll pays out freely instead of dragging across the ground while you thread. At a run length of 35 or 70 meters that is the difference between an afternoon and a full day.
