Double-Rod Mesh Fence 6/5/6 – the most frequently bought gauge
6/5/6 is the standard for private properties: horizontal double rods at 6 mm, vertical rods at 5 mm, mesh size 50 x 200 mm. Sturdy enough that the panel does not deform when someone leans against it, and still clearly below the 8/6/8 class in price.
In this gauge you will find both plain panels and the ornamental versions with decorative elements in the upper section. The panel length varies by model – 2510 mm for the wide bays, 1910 mm for the narrow ones. This changes the number of posts per meter and therefore the price.
Installation note
The panels can be cut to size with an angle grinder. Always seal cut edges with zinc spray and then paint spray, otherwise the fence will start to rust exactly there first.
