A steel waste bin enclosure is the most robust way to house waste containers outdoors. Galvanised and colour-coated steel permanently withstands wind, weather and mechanical stress – and at the same time keeps waste bins hidden from animals, odours and prying eyes.

Robust material protection through galvanising and coating

The steel sheet construction is galvanised to protect against corrosion and additionally high-quality colour or powder-coated. This double surface finish ensures long-lasting rust protection and an appealing, easy-care appearance in common RAL colours such as anthracite grey.

Sophisticated function and operating comfort

A hinged lid with gas pressure springs opens effortlessly and stays securely in position. Wing doors allow convenient access to each bin, height-adjustable feet compensate for uneven surfaces, and the lockable version reliably protects against unauthorised access.

To prevent tipping in storms, metal units must be securely fixed. They are anchored firmly to a foundation or paving stones via holes in the base plate using solid concrete screws or anchors.

If you want to enjoy your unit for a long time, go for metal. Models made of high-quality stainless steel or powder-coated steel (e.g. in anthracite) are especially corrosion-resistant and remain weatherproof outdoors for many years.

Hot-dip galvanized, powder-coated steel sheets are particularly resistant, as they are insensitive to impacts and easy to clean. For a warmer look, our units can also be combined with weatherproof wood cladding (e.g. larch).

The size of the unit must match the liter capacity of your municipal bins exactly. The most common sizes used by municipal waste services are 120 liters for residual waste and 240 liters for the paper bin.

A fully enclosed unit prevents the sun from beating down directly on the plastic bins. As a result, the waste heats up considerably less, which significantly reduces unpleasant fermentation processes and strong odors.

Multifunctional units are becoming increasingly popular. Many manufacturers offer modular systems that, in addition to the waste bins, include a lockable, burglar-proof parcel box for delivery services.

Yes, modern units often feature a very convenient gas spring system in the lid. It lets the heavy metal lid swing up gently on its own after a light tap.

The BINBOX series in coated steel comes as a compact kit with instructions (delivery time approx. 4 weeks); thanks to articulated feet, it can also be leveled on slightly uneven ground.
