Germany's Best Online Shops 2024
Shopping around the clock, convenient delivery, and, to top it off, a return policy – online shopping is popular with many people. But not every online provider is worth recommending. A major consumer survey conducted by the German Institute for Service Quality and the news channel ntv reveals which online shops are top-notch: A good 77,000 customer opinions determined the best companies in 98 categories. The "Germany's Best Online Shops 2024" award ceremony took place at the Bertelsmann representative office in Berlin.
As part of the population-representative consumer survey conducted via an online panel, customer satisfaction with online shops was assessed in the areas of value for money, product range, customer service, website/app, ordering and payment terms, and shipping and returns. Numerous individual aspects were taken into account, such as product quality and product variety, expert advice by phone, email, and chat, payment options and delivery options, shipping costs and speed, and returns processing. Customers' willingness to recommend the company was also included in the overall results. A total of 944 companies were evaluated; 867 online shops, each receiving at least 80 votes, were included in the individual evaluation. A total of 77,255 customer opinions were received.
