This is exactly what Kirchberger Metall firewood racks are designed for – durable wood storage made of weather-resistant Corten steel or powder-coated steel, manufactured in Germany.

Why a Metal Firewood Rack?

The open design allows air to circulate freely around the logs. This ensures that the wood dries evenly and reaches the residual moisture content of under 20 percent recommended for clean combustion. The distance from the ground protects against rising moisture, and the stable steel frame keeps even large quantities of wood securely in shape – transforming a loose pile into a tidy, ready-to-use stack.

Corten Steel: Weather-resistant with a Noble Rust Patina

Corten steel forms its characteristic rusty brown patina in the air within a few weeks. This protective layer permanently prevents through-rusting – a Corten steel wood storage unit can therefore stand outdoors unprotected in the garden or on the terrace all year round. The warm, noble rust look harmonizes perfectly with wood, greenery, and modern garden architecture.

Powder-Coated Steel for Indoor Use
