The unit must match the liter size of your communal bins: common sizes are 120 liters(e.g., residual waste) and 240 liters(e.g., paper). Our models are available as 1-bin, 2-bin, 3-bin, and 4-bin units – for orientation: a BINBOX for 2 bins measures approx. 148 × 78 × 122 cm (W × D × H). For about four bins or if bicycles and garden tools also need to be stored, a walk-in bin house is the better choice.

A closed metal box shields the bins from direct sun – the contents heat up less, fermentation processes and odor formation are significantly reduced. Roof variants and extras: Hinged roof, planted roof, storage space
Depending on the model, you can choose a practical hinged roof with gas springs(lid gently opens with a light touch) or a green planted roofwith a waterproof tray and drainage – planted, for example, with low-maintenance sedum. Thanks to sturdy back panels, the boxes can also stand freely and serve as storage space for garden tools or as a bicycle shelter.
Delivered fully assembled or as a kit
Our stainless steel and wood-stainless steel models are delivered fully assembledby freight forwarder – you just need to place the box in its designated spot. The BINBOX series made of coated steel comes as a well-designed kitwith instructions (delivery time approx. 4 weeks) and can be leveled on slightly uneven ground using adjustable feet. For storm-proof stability, all boxes are screwed to the ground via the base plate.
Location and building regulations: Can the box be placed at the property line?
In most federal states, wheelie bin enclosures up to 2 m in height are considered fencing or subordinate structures under building law and can usually be placed directly at the property line. The local building authority can provide binding information for your location – our compact boxes are significantly below this mark at around 1.22 m in height. For walk-in bin houses, different rules apply depending on the federal state; here too, the building authority can help.
