Double-Rod Mesh Fence 5/4/5 – the slim entry level
5/4/5 means: two horizontal rods with a diameter of 5 mm, and the vertical rods between them at 4 mm. This is the lightest design in the double-rod range and is enough for the classic property boundary around a private home, where the fence marks a border rather than keeping people out.
The mesh size is 50 x 200 mm. All panels are hot-dip galvanized and additionally powder-coated – under normal weather conditions the zinc layer lasts up to 30 years, and the paint layer extends this considerably again.
What to look out for when choosing
Calculate the fence length from the axial post spacing, not from the panel width: measured from post center to post center, one bay is slightly wider than the panel itself. Where you connect to a wall or a gate, you also need a fence connection strip or a connection bracket.
