Dual Function: Fall Protection & Burglary Protection

This stainless steel window bar serves two important purposes at once:

  • Fall protection: A secure parapet for floor-to-ceiling windows on upper floors.
  • Burglary protection: Ideal for ground-floor windows. To maximize protection, you can have the bar fitted with special shear-off nuts in the configuration, which prevent unauthorized removal.

Selecting the Mounting Width

Simply enter the mounting width (hole spacing) in mm in the selection field.

Important installation note: Please allow a distance of at least 10 cm from the edge of the wall. If the distance is too small, the masonry may break out during drilling.

How to calculate the correct mounting distance:

  • 1000 mm window width (reveal dimension)
  • + 100 mm distance from the left wall edge
  • + 100 mm distance from the right wall edge
  • = 1200 mm your order dimension (mounting distance)

Everything you need for the bar itself is already included:

  • 1x stainless steel round tube (Ø 33,7 mm or 42,4 mm, length of your choice)
  • 2x round tube end cap
  • 2x wall spacer

The Right Mounting Material for Your Facade

Since every house wall has different requirements, we offer made to measure mounting kits for the French balcony. Please select the appropriate material depending on the condition of your wall:

  • Standard masonry: For solid walls such as brick or aerated concrete.
  • Facades with thermal insulation (ETICS): Special mounting with thermal separation to effectively prevent thermal bridges and mold formation.
  • Timber constructions: Suitable mounting for timber frame construction.

A stainless steel round tube of Ø 33.7 or 42.4 mm (2 mm wall thickness). For maximum burglary protection, optionally with shear nuts to prevent unauthorized removal.

They serve as mechanical burglary protection for windows (especially on the ground floor and in basements) and at the same time as fall protection or a French balcony for floor-to-ceiling windows – a modern, discreet alternative to window grilles.

High-quality, rust-free 1.4301 (V2A) stainless steel, brushed. The wall-mounting elements are also made of stainless steel. Manufactured in Germany.

You specify the mounting distance in mm; we manufacture made to measure. The mounting distance corresponds to the exact reveal dimension of your window opening in mm – that is, the clear dimension between the two reveal walls on which the bar is mounted. Please measure precisely, as the Security Bar III is fitted into the reveal with an exact fit. The slip-on sleeves give us an installation clearance of 5 mm – so the bar can be inserted without any problem despite being made to measure.

The mounting kit is selected separately to match the wall: standard masonry (brick/aerated concrete), thermal insulation (ETICS, with thermal separation against cold bridges), or timber-frame construction.
