Maximum Burglary Protection with Saw Protection

An internal, solid rolling steel bar (Ø 12 mm) prevents sawing: When attempting to saw, the bar rotates away, making it impossible to cut through with a normal saw. Special Torx security screws with a drive-in star reliably prevent disassembly.

Assembly

  1. Slide the main tube and internal rolling bar into the wall connection brackets and screw them together
  2. Measure, align with a spirit level, drill holes, insert anchors
  3. Screw everything together to the wall
  4. Hammer the drive-in stars into the screw heads

Questions and Answers

The Security Bar IV has an outer tube of Ø 42.4 mm with a sturdy wall-connection bracket and is bolted tamper-proof using Torx security screws with a knock-in star. The saw protection via the internal rolling bar (Ø 12 mm) is identical on both.

They serve as mechanical burglary protection for windows (especially on the ground floor and in basements) and at the same time as fall protection or a French balcony for floor-to-ceiling windows – a modern, discreet alternative to window grilles.

High-quality, rust-free 1.4301 (V2A) stainless steel, brushed. The wall-mounting elements are also made of stainless steel. Manufactured in Germany.

You specify the mounting distance in mm; we manufacture made to measure. The mounting distance corresponds to the exact reveal dimension of your window opening in mm – that is, the clear dimension between the two reveal walls on which the bar is mounted. Please measure precisely, as the Security Bar III is fitted into the reveal with an exact fit. The slip-on sleeves give us an installation clearance of 5 mm – so the bar can be inserted without any problem despite being made to measure.

The mounting kit is selected separately to match the wall: standard masonry (brick/aerated concrete), thermal insulation (ETICS, with thermal separation against cold bridges), or timber-frame construction.
