Zürich Canopy System – Versatility in a Familiar Form

The "Zürich" model impresses with its surprising versatility in a classic design. The distinctive feature of this series is the transparent gable roof – a form proven over centuries that reliably and evenly drains snow and rain. The flexibly adaptable canopy is ideal as a passenger shelter, bicycle parking facility, carport, or as weather protection for shopping carts.

Materials and Construction

  • Structure: Corrosion-protected, individually manufactured, and hot-dip galvanized steel construction. The steel beams can be arranged variably, allowing for cantilevered designs if desired.
  • Roof Shape: Classic gable roof (selectable in transverse or longitudinal direction) with high-quality roofing made of durable laminated safety glass (VSG).
  • Side Walls: Standardly equipped with side walls made of robust toughened safety glass (ESG). Alternative materials are available upon request.
  • Paintwork: The standard finish is in RAL 7016 (Anthracite Grey). Individual color schemes in other RAL colors are easily possible.
  • Load Capacity & Installation: The solid construction is designed for a snow load of 0.93 kN/m². The system is standardly designed for ground mounting, but all other fastening methods can be implemented upon request.
