Vesta VSG stainless steel glass canopy – compact cantilever canopy in two fixed sizes

The Vesta canopy is a compact stainless steel mono-pitch roof with 12 mm clear laminated safety glass. Two cantilever arms made of 3 mm V2A sheet carry the pane, without tie rods and without supports under the glass. The roof comes in two fixed sizes – the right choice for side and basement entrances or a narrow front door.

Sizes

Two fixed sizes: 1,600 × 900 mm or 2,000 × 900 mm (width × projection), overall height 260 mm. Intermediate sizes are not possible with this model.

Rain gutter

You select the stainless steel rain gutter directly in the dropdown. Without a gutter the water runs off over the front edge; with a gutter it is collected and drained off to the side. The surcharge depends on the roof width and is already included in the variant price shown.

What to look out for when choosing

At an overall height of 260 mm, the roof also fits above doors with little wall space up to the window above. Measure the width of the area above the door that is free of lights and downpipes; 1,600 mm covers a single door, 2,000 mm a door with a side panel. The cantilever arms need load-bearing masonry or concrete; if you have an external thermal insulation composite system, please talk to us before ordering.

On request and at extra cost, a matte glass film and a self-cleaning effect (Pilkington Activ) are available. For acrylic glass models, additional versions such as satin finish or clear textured are possible.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.
