Sirius VSG Stainless Steel Glass Canopy – Mono-Pitch Roof with Square Tube Brackets

The Sirius canopy is a mono-pitch roof made of stainless steel with 12 mm laminated safety glass. The support brackets are made of 40 × 40 mm square tube rather than round tube: this looks more angular and suits facades with straight lines, such as front doors with rectangular glass cut-outs. With a 20° pitch the water runs off quickly towards the front.

Rain gutter

You select the stainless steel rain gutter (rectangular, 70 × 70 mm, bolted to the beams) directly in the dropdown. Without a gutter the water runs off over the front edge; with a gutter it is collected and drained off to the side. The surcharge depends on the roof width and is already included in the variant price shown.

What to look out for when choosing

Measure the width of the area above the door that is free of window sills, lights and downpipes. The projection should cover the top step; with a landing in front of the door, 1,000 mm makes sense. Below the mounting rail the support brackets need load-bearing masonry or concrete for the wall anchors. With external thermal insulation composite systems, please contact us before ordering.

On request and at extra cost, a matte glass film and a self-cleaning effect (Pilkington Activ) are available. For acrylic glass models, additional versions such as satin finish or clear textured are possible.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.
