Juwel VSG Stainless Steel Glass Canopy – Tie-Rod Canopy up to 3,600 mm Wide

The Juwel canopy is a mono-pitch roof made of stainless steel with 16 mm laminated safety glass that hangs from tie rods instead of resting on brackets. The rods run diagonally upwards from the front edge to wall brackets, leaving the space beneath the glass clear. This is the classic design for business entrances and prestigious front doors, up to 3,600 mm wide and 1,400 mm projection.

Sizes

34 standard sizes: width 1,400 to 3,600 mm in steps of 200 mm, projection 1,000, 1,200 or 1,400 mm. The overall height (upper edge of the wall bracket to lower edge of the glass) results from the projection:

Rain gutter

You select the stainless steel rain gutter directly in the dropdown. Without a gutter the water runs off over the front edge; with a gutter it is collected and drained off to the side. The surcharge depends on the roof width and is already included in the variant price shown.

What to look out for when choosing

The tie rods need wall space above the roof: with a 1,400 mm projection the upper brackets sit around 1,050 mm above the lower edge of the glass. Check that there is no window there. Measure the width of the area above the door that is free of window sills, lights and downpipes. The brackets need load-bearing masonry or concrete; with external thermal insulation composite systems, please contact us before ordering.

The canopy comes complete with a matching glass pane, shipping free of charge. Professional installation by our team is available on request.

The roof is carried by 2-3 tie rods and 2-3 cantilever arms and has a 10° roof pitch - a transparent, delicate unit that acts as an eye-catcher.

The assumed load is 75 kg/m². Higher loads - for example for snowy regions - are possible on request. Additional loads according to DIN EN 1991 are not included in the standard assumption.

On request and at extra cost, a matte glass film and a self-cleaning effect (Pilkington Activ) are available. For acrylic glass models, additional versions such as satin finish or clear textured are possible.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.
