Galaxy VSG Stainless Steel Glass Canopy – Flat Mono-Pitch Roof up to 3,600 mm Wide

The Galaxy canopy is a flat mono-pitch roof made of stainless steel with 16 mm laminated safety glass. With only 10° pitch and 395 mm overall height it fits under low lintels and above front doors with a transom window. The widths go up to 3,600 mm, so it also covers double doors and entrances with side panels.

Sizes

24 standard sizes: width 1,400 to 3,600 mm in steps of 200 mm, projection 1,000 or 1,200 mm. The overall height is 395 mm for all sizes.

Rain gutter

You select the stainless steel rain gutter directly in the dropdown. Without a gutter the water runs off over the front edge; with a gutter it is collected and drained off to the side. The surcharge depends on the roof width and is already included in the variant price shown.

What to look out for when choosing

Measure the width of the area above the door that is free of window sills, lights and downpipes. From 2,200 mm width there is a third beam, from 3,200 mm a fourth; the beam positions must sit on load-bearing masonry or concrete. The 1,200 mm projection is the right choice if there is a landing in front of the door. With external thermal insulation composite systems, please contact us before ordering.

The canopy comes complete with a matching glass pane, shipping free of charge. Professional installation by our team is available on request.

On request and at extra cost, a matte glass film and a self-cleaning effect (Pilkington Activ) are available. For acrylic glass models, additional versions such as satin finish or clear textured are possible.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.
