The BERLIN is specifically designed for elderly people and those with limited mobility. Thanks to the raised seat height of around 520 mm and the sturdy armrests, sitting down and standing up is considerably easier. It is ideal for senior care facilities, nursing homes, spa and clinic gardens, cemeteries, and public parks and green spaces.

With a seat height of about 520 mm, the knees and hips need to bend far less when standing up. This reduces the effort required, relieves the joints, and lowers the risk of falling. Together with the armrests, which provide firm support, the bench enables safe and independent standing up.

Both versions are hot-dip galvanized and therefore fundamentally protected against rust. With the 'hot-dip galvanized' version, the steel frame retains its silvery galvanized look – the most economical choice for purely functional use. With 'hot-dip galvanized + powder-coated', an additional color layer in RAL 7016 anthracite gray is applied: a higher-quality appearance, subtle integration into the surroundings, and additional weather protection. Other RAL colors are available on request.

Yes, all versions of the BERLIN are delivered fully assembled – there is nothing for you to put together on site. The side sections are prepared for bolting down and are anchored to a solid surface such as concrete or paving. The required fastening material is included, so the bench stands securely and is theft-deterrent.

In the 'with intermediate armrests' version, each of the four seats has its own armrest – not just the two outer seats. This gives every user firm support when sitting down and standing up and creates clearly separated, comfortable seats; ideal for senior care facilities and heavily used areas. In the 'without intermediate armrests' version, only the two side armrests are present.

Both types of wood are suitable for outdoor use, and the price is the same. Spruce is impregnated and the classic standard choice. Larch is naturally particularly weather-resistant and durable and offers a warm appearance. So simply choose based on your preferred look and longevity.
