For all posts in this series except the privacy screen post Type A80, the figure is the fence height, meaning the height of the double-rod mesh panel. The post itself is longer because it is set in concrete. For the Type A80, the selection shows the overall length of the post instead, and the matching fence height is stated right next to it.

One post per fence bay, plus one extra at the end of the run. The bay width is stated with each double-rod mesh panel. Every change of direction adds a corner post, and a gate adds a gate post. Measure the run before ordering, not from the plan but on the property itself.

On a post with a cover strip, a flat steel bar runs the full height of the post and conceals the joint between two panels. With clamping plates, each panel is clamped individually with a small stainless steel plate and the joint stays visible. The cover strip gives a calmer fence line, while the clamping plate is quicker to install.

The short post Type A without a ground section, together with a base plate. It is anchored onto L-shaped retaining blocks, paving, asphalt surfaces or a concrete wall. The base plate is not included in delivery and is ordered separately. Alternatively, the fence post Type U is available with a base plate as an option.

Hot-dip galvanized means the finished post is immersed in a zinc bath, where the zinc bonds metallurgically with the steel. Sendzimir galvanized means the steel strip was already galvanized before it was processed. The bare posts are hot-dip galvanized in an immersion bath to EN ISO 1461. The powder-coated posts are Sendzimir galvanized and additionally carry the powder layer, which increases corrosion protection further.

Yes. Once the strips are woven in, the air-permeable mesh becomes a closed surface and the wind pushes against it instead of passing through. That load ends up in the post and in the foundation. This is what the privacy screen post Type A80 is for, made from 80 x 40 x 2 mm tube and set in concrete over a greater length, so it meets the structural requirements.
