The SolarCover Carport is entering its 2nd generation: Thanks to optimized system components, new partnerships and more efficient production processes, the SolarCover 2.0 now offers even more power with the same number of modules and a sleeker look.

The support structure of the solar carport consists of hot-dip galvanized steel, which is particularly durable and low-maintenance due to its high corrosion resistance. The roof is covered with high-quality glass-glass photovoltaic modules with a thickness of 5 mm, which not only generate electricity but also allow for a pleasant play of light due to their 28% transparency.

The roofing consists of 15 modules per unit, each with a nominal output of 370 Wp, resulting in a total output of 5.55 kWp per module group. The modules are resistant to weathering and mechanical stress and comply with the highest safety standards with overhead and vertical approval according to DIN18008.

The basic equipment already includes three surface-mounted luminaires including a built-in presence detector for interior lighting of the carport.

Flexibly expandable – for growing requirements

Whether as a single carport with two parking spaces or as a complete row system:
The SolarCover is based on a modular system, where the base module with two parking spaces can be extended by any number of extension units. This allows even large areas to be economically equipped with solar energy – for example, employee parking spaces, customer parking spaces or entire company fleets.

Installation of a control cabinet including a three-phase string inverter and sub-distribution with two MPP trackers for PV systems in the power range up to 12 kW for a maximum of 4 parking spaces. Installation between the two posts of the carport.

Our inverter and the sub-distribution are protected in a control cabinet made of perforated steel sheet in RAL 9005 mounted between the two posts. The inverter is additionally secured against theft with a padlock. The control cabinet also includes the sub-distribution, which contains all relevant fuses for direct connection to the power grid. The inverter is a hybrid inverter, which optionally allows direct connection to an existing energy storage unit provided by the customer.

Scope of installation services:

• Professional final assembly by experienced technicians
• Travel to and from the assembly team included
• Assembly is carried out on foundations prepared by the customer by means of floor mounting (bolting down)
• Delivery & installation from a single source – efficient and reliable

Important prerequisites for installation by us:

• Foundations: Must have already been laid by the customer in accordance with the foundation plans provided
• Work equipment: A forklift or crane with at least 2,000 kg lifting capacity and 2.4 meter long forklift shoes or suitable crane rigging must be provided on site
• Work environment: Unhindered access for trucks and sufficient clear space at the installation site are absolutely essential
• Access & safety: Installation is carried out using tested ladders. If other work equipment (e.g., aerial work platforms) is prescribed, these must be provided free of charge

Note:

Installation does not include earthworks, paving, or foundation work. These must be carried out by the builder in advance.
