Our fence model Basic is a modern, stably welded metal steel fence that can also be used as a railing for fall protection.
With its hot-dip galvanized and additionally powder-coated surface, it is rust-free and weather-resistant for many years.
The fence is easy to assemble, so assembly can be handled by anyone with DIY skills.
Assembly instructions, advice and service come directly from the manufacturer Kirchberger Metall.

Details:
- all connections fully welded according to DIN EN 1090
- Material steel 235JR, hot-dip galvanized surface + powder-coated in the color of your choice
- Frame made of 40x8 mm flat steel
- Bar infill made of 30 x 6mm flat steel
- Bent angle 40 x 6mm
- Slotted holes in the mounting bracket can compensate for +/-10mm post spacing deviation.
- incl. screws, nuts, washers for fastening to the M8 stainless steel bracket.
- incl. self-tapping screws for fastening the brackets to the steel posts
or alternatively concrete screws for fastening to existing stone posts.

Use as a fence or railing?
- as a fence: field length up to max. 2500 mm possible, height up to 1500 mm
- as a railing: field length up to max. 1500 mm, height up to 1100 mm (withstands 1kN/m handrail load)

Additional Information:
Often, when fencing, walls or certain drop heights also need to be considered.
A simple mesh fence no longer offers sufficient statics and is not permissible here!

The regulations for railings and fall protection vary slightly from state to state, so please inform yourself beforehand.
We have summarized the essential general regulations here:

• The production of railings may only be carried out in companies certified according to the European standard DIN EN 1090.
• From a drop height of just 100cm (Bavaria 50cm), a railing of at least 90cm height is necessary.
• From a drop height of 12m, a railing of at least 110cm height is necessary.
• All railing openings must not be more than 12cm, therefore bar spacing clear dimension max. 12cm
• Handrail loads of 0.5 kN/m without significant public traffic (private area), 1.0 kN/m with significant public traffic (public area)
