Our fence model Basic 2 is a modern, sturdily welded metal steel fence that can also be used as a railing for fall protection.
With its hot-dip galvanized surface, it is rust-free and weather-resistant for many years.
The fence is easy to assemble; therefore, anyone with basic DIY skills can handle the installation.
Assembly instructions, advice and service come directly from the manufacturer Kirchberger Metall.

- all connections fully welded according to DIN 1090
- Material: 235JR steel, surface: hot-dip galvanized
- Frame made of 40x8 mm flat steel
- Bar infill made of 30 x 6mm flat steel
- Angle bracket 40 x 6mm
- Slotted holes in the mounting bracket allow for compensation of +/-10mm post spacing deviations.
- Includes screws, nuts, and washers for mounting on the M8 stainless steel angle bracket.
- Includes self-tapping screws for attaching the brackets to the steel posts
or alternatively, concrete screws for fastening to existing stone posts.

Use as a fence or railing?
- as a fence: Panel length up to max. 2500 mm possible, height up to 1500 mm
- as a railing: Span length up to max. 1500 mm, height up to 1100 mm (withstands 1kN/m post load)

Additional information:
Often, walls or certain drop heights also need to be taken into account when erecting a fence.
A simple welded wire mesh fence no longer provides sufficient structural support here and is therefore not permitted!

Regulations for railings and fall protection systems vary slightly from state to state, so please check beforehand.
We have summarized the essential general regulations here:

• The production of railings may only take place in companies that are certified according to the European standard DIN EN 1090.
• From a fall height of 100cm (Bavaria 50cm) a railing of at least 90cm height is necessary.
• From a fall height of 12m, a railing of at least 110cm in height is necessary.
• All railing openings must not exceed 12 cm; therefore, the maximum clear distance between bars must be 12 cm.
• Beam loads of 0.5 kN/m without significant public traffic (private area), 1.0 kN/m with significant public traffic (public area)
