Glass Juliet Balcony – Modern Fall Protection with Point Fixings

Opt for maximum transparency and minimalist design: Our Glass Juliet Balcony combines safety with modern architecture. Thanks to its attachment via four high-quality stainless steel point fixings and a discreet stainless steel handrail, this fall protection offers an unobstructed view without compromising the façade's appearance. Made from highly stable laminated safety glass (LSG), this system meets the highest building code requirements.

Technical Design & Details:

• Glass Type: LSG made from HST (laminated safety glass made from heat-strengthened glass).
• Safety Check: Discreet HST stamp on the edge as proof of quality.
• Glass Thickness: Solid 16 mm (8/8.2) for maximum stability.
• Safety Film: High-strength 1.52 mm PVB film.
• Drillings: Precise 4-fold drilling for mounting the brackets.
• Dimensions: Standard height 100 cm (custom sizes on request).
• Scope of Delivery: Includes 4 stainless steel point fixings and a custom-fit stainless steel rail (edge protection).

How to determine the correct mounting width:
For secure wall mounting, the rule of thumb is: Window opening (reveal) + approx. 20 cm. Please note that an edge distance of approx. 10 cm from the wall edge should be maintained to prevent the masonry from breaking out. This is particularly crucial for the structural safety of heavy glass constructions.

Example calculation of mounting distance:
1000 mm window width (reveal dimension)
+100 mm left distance
+100 mm right distance
= 1200 mm mounting distance

Mounting Set - Installation Material:
Depending on the nature of the wall, different mounting materials are required for the Juliet Balcony.

• Mounting on masonry (brick, aerated concrete)
• Mounting on external thermal insulation composite system (ETICS) with thermal break
• Mounting on timber frame constructions

Notes on installation material:
The choice of the correct mounting material depends on the nature of your facade (e.g., concrete, brick, or thermal insulation). For professional installation, please observe the applicable building regulations. For facades with external insulation (ETICS), special stand-off mounting material is required.
