BASIC Shelter – modular bicycle and material storage

The BASIC is a robust, weatherproof bicycle shelter and also a versatile material canopy – for bicycles, e-bikes, equipment, waste bins, or other materials. The load-bearing steel structure with a roof and back wall made of trapezoidal sheet metal reliably protects against rain, snow, and sun, and is suitable for residential complexes, businesses, schools, municipalities, and public spaces.

Stable Construction: The single-sided pent roof is designed for a snow load of up to 93 kg/m² and, together with effective drainage via the roof and back wall, ensures reliable protection – even in severe weather.

The BASIC is fully configurable – choose your desired version from three options:

1. Length: The basic unit measures approximately 5 m (5,180 mm roof width). With up to four add-on units, you can extend the shelter in stages to 10, 15, 20, or 25 m – ideal for precisely adapting the number of parking spaces to your needs.

2. Finish: You can choose between the purely galvanized finish (silvery appearance) and the coated finish. The coated version is strip-galvanized and additionally powder-coated on the outside in RAL 9002 Grey White, with a grey protective lacquer on the inside – for a high-quality appearance and additional weather protection. In addition to the standard RAL 9002 color, other RAL colors are available upon request.

3. Side Walls: For additional wind, weather, and privacy protection, you can add side walls made of trapezoidal sheet metal – single-sided (left or right) or double-sided. The side walls are available to match the chosen finish and can also be added later.

This way, combining length, finish, and side walls, you get exactly the shelter that fits your location. All versions are delivered for bolting down and are anchored to a solid surface; the clear height at the front is 2,100 mm, and the roof overhang on the sides is 2 × 340 mm.

The BASIC is suitable not only for bicycles and e-bikes but also as a canopy for materials, equipment, or waste bins. Thanks to its robust, weatherproof steel construction with a trapezoidal sheet roof, it reliably protects against rain, snow, and sun – ideal for residential complexes, businesses, schools, municipalities, and public spaces.

Both versions permanently protect the construction against the weather. The galvanized version retains its silvery galvanized look. The coated version is strip-galvanized and additionally powder-coated on the outside in RAL 9002 gray white, with a gray protective coating on the inside – for a higher-quality appearance and additional protection. In addition to the standard color RAL 9002, other RAL colors are available on request.

The trapezoidal sheet side walls provide additional wind and weather protection as well as more privacy. They can be chosen for one side (left or right) or both sides – matching the selected surface finish. Adding them later is possible; the side walls are also available separately.

The base unit has a roof width of 5,180 mm and a roof depth of 2,250 mm (axis width 4,500 mm, clear height at the front 2,100 mm). Depending on the layout and bike racks, numerous bicycles fit underneath; the area is equally suitable for materials or equipment.

The shelter is supplied for bolting down and is anchored to a solid, load-bearing surface such as concrete or paving. This ensures the construction stands securely and stably. Information on foundations is available on request.

Due to its size (base unit approx. 321 kg, 5.18 m wide), delivery is made by freight carrier. The shelter is delivered for on-site assembly and bolted down there. We are happy to provide details on setup and installation.
