  • Diameter: M12
  • Length: either 100 mm or 120 mm (selectable)
  • Material: high-quality galvanized steel for optimal corrosion protection
  • Installation: Expansion anchorage for immediate load-bearing capacity
  • Suitable for: Concrete (C20/25 to C50/60), natural stone with a dense structure
  • Packaging units: 10, 20 or 50 pieces per set

Advantages of bolt anchors:

  • High tensile and shear loads for maximum safety
  • Quick and easy assembly
  • Maintenance-free connection
  • Versatile for indoor and outdoor use

Installation instructions for M12 bolt anchors

  1. Create borehole

    • Use a 12 mm diameter hammer drill bit (for M12 bolt anchors)

    • Drilling depth according to the anchor length (100 mm → approx. 110 mm / 120 mm → approx. 130 mm)

  2. Clean the borehole

    • Thoroughly remove drilling dust with a brush or compressed air.

  3. Insert bolt anchor

    • Insert the anchor into the borehole until the washer is flush.

  4. Put on

    • Tighten the nut using a torque wrench (M12: approx. 50–60 Nm, observe manufacturer's specifications)

  5. Burden

    • The anchor can bear full load immediately after installation.

Tip: For maximum safety, only work on approved surfaces and with suitable drill bits.

Questions and Answers

We manufacture railings from hot-dip galvanized steel, optionally powder-coated (duplex, e.g. RAL 7016 anthracite), as well as from rust-free stainless steel (V2A/V4A). Infill options include vertical bars, glass, perforated sheet or wood - all versions are weatherproof and durable.

According to the state building codes, at least 90 cm applies up to a fall height of 12 m, and 110 cm above that. To protect children, the clear spacing of vertical infill bars may not exceed 12 cm.

We manufacture in a DIN EN 1090 certified specialist workshop with verified structural analysis. Industrial railings for workplaces additionally comply with DIN EN ISO 14122-3.

Depending on the situation, either top-mounted (on the floor or balcony slab) or front-mounted (on the face). Heavy-duty or bonded anchors with building authority approval are used, which safely transfer the loads into the load-bearing component.

Horizontal bars are critical (ladder effect for children) and are not permitted above certain fall heights in many state building codes. Safe alternatives are vertical infill bars, glass or perforated sheet.

Your railing is delivered handcrafted in Germany, made to measure with millimeter precision as a ready-to-install kit - for quick, code-compliant self-assembly. We are happy to assist you on request.

A hot-dip galvanized balcony railing (Bavaria model) starts at approx. €199, a French balcony at approx. €245, powder-coated models like Lines from approx. €285, Vista glass railings from approx. €397, and stainless steel sets (Domus E/S, 150 cm module) from €472. The online configurator shows the price for your desired dimensions instantly (as of 07/2026).

Both are permanently weatherproof. Hot-dip galvanized steel is the economical solution, optionally with a powder coating in your preferred RAL color (duplex protection). V2A stainless steel is rust-free and elegant; near the coast or where chlorine exposure is a factor, V4A is recommended. In the end, the choice mainly comes down to looks and budget.

A railing serving as fall protection generally does not require a separate permit, but it must meet the requirements of the applicable state building code (including a height of 90 or 110 cm and a maximum bar spacing of 12 cm). Your local building authority can provide binding information for your project – we manufacture your railing to match these requirements.
