No. The roof rests on a concealed support structure of blade brackets with a wall plate and aluminum support-structure rafters. The number of rafters depends on the width and is designed for a snow load of 85 kg/m². For areas with heavy snowfall we increase the load capacity to up to 300 kg/m² with additional support blades – just tell us your snow load zone in the comments field.

From a roof width of 3 m the laminated safety glass (VSG) pane is divided. The glazing bar that splits the glass always sits above a support-structure rafter, so no butt joint is left unsupported in the middle of the surface.

Yes. Installation version 2 is designed for this, with a blade extension and a 3 mm thermal break; the wall plates are fixed to the load-bearing wall behind the insulation. Version 1 is installation directly on the concrete slab or on a thermally insulated heavy-duty bracket. You select either version in the configurator.

The aluminum frame is available in RAL 7016 matt, RAL 9007 matt, DB 703 matt and RAL 9016 at no extra charge; any other RAL color is available for a surcharge. The roof is made of 10 mm clear laminated safety glass (VSG), optionally with a matt film finish.

The support structure is the same, the roofing is not: 10 mm laminated safety glass (VSG) here, closed aluminum panels there. The glass roof is available up to 1,200 mm deep, the panel version up to 1,600 mm. Both can be fitted with the same side panels and with the LED lighting on the support-structure rafters.
