The Platin canopy is the perfect solution for a modern, weather-protected house entrance. The flat aluminum construction with high-quality VSG glazing (10 mm clear) impresses with its elegant appearance, high stability, and durable quality. Thanks to its slim design with a frame height of 125 mm, the canopy is ideal for entrance areas with limited installation height.

Efficient Drainage

The Platin canopy features a hidden, pyramid-shaped aluminum covering that precisely drains water:

  • Standard: Drainage via a gargoyle (position 11)
  • Optional: concealed drainage through the front corner support
  • From 2,500 mm width: two gargoyles (positions 8/11) for optimal water drainage

Flexible Installation – Maximum Width Without Supports

On pressure-resistant masonry, the Platin canopy can also be installed without corner supports or side panels, depending on the roof depth:

  • 0.80 m roof depth: up to 3.0 m width without supports
  • 1.00 m roof depth: up to 3.0 m width without supports

Integrated LED Lighting for Stylish Accents

The optional LED lighting package skillfully showcases your entrance area:

  • Indirect lighting: one-third of the light shines downwards for soft light in the entrance area, two-thirds upwards for stylish accentuation of the facade
  • Even illumination all around: LED strips on all four sides of the canopy
  • Complete package: LED strips, splash-proof transformer (IP65, 75 W, 25 V) and motion detector (optionally available without motion detector)
  • Inconspicuous, secure installation: transformer integrated directly under the glass in the frame-gutter profile

Matching Side Panels Available Separately

Complement your canopy with matching side panels made of glass or aluminum for additional protection and a harmonious overall appearance – available separately in the shop and individually configurable.

A 10 mm thick, clear laminated safety glass (VSG). It is particularly break-resistant and holds the shards together if damaged.

On pressure-resistant masonry up to 3.0 m width - both at 0.8 m and at 1.0 m roof depth. Larger dimensions are built with a support or side panel.

Surrounding LED strips on all four sides provide indirect light - about one third downwards for the entrance, two thirds upwards to accentuate the facade. Included are a splash-proof transformer (IP65, 75 W) and optionally a motion detector; the transformer is invisibly integrated into the gutter profile.

Via a 3-sided aluminum rain gutter and a water spout (position 11); from 2,500 mm width via two spouts (position 8/11), optionally concealed through the corner support.

The load-bearing structure is made of powder-coated aluminum (any RAL color) or stainless steel. Depending on the model, the roof and side panel infills consist of aluminum, laminated safety glass (VSG), aluminum or real wood glazing bars.

The porch roofs are delivered as prefabricated, ready-to-install elements - without extensive assembly on site. On request, we also offer professional installation by our team.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.

Yes. In addition to standard sizes, we build custom constructions made to measure. Options include LED lighting (spot lights or a surrounding strip, also with motion detector) as well as a mailbox with doorbell system integrated into the side panel.
