The Platin canopy is the perfect solution for a modern, weather-protected house entrance. The flat aluminum construction with high-quality VSG glazing (10 mm clear) impresses with its elegant appearance, high stability, and durable quality. Thanks to its slim design with a frame height of 125 mm, the canopy is ideal for entrance areas with limited installation height.

Efficient Drainage

The Platin canopy features a hidden, pyramid-shaped aluminum covering that precisely drains water:

  • Standard: Drainage via a gargoyle (position 11)
  • Optional: concealed drainage through the front corner support
  • From 2,500 mm width: two gargoyles (positions 8/11) for optimal water drainage

Flexible Installation – Maximum Width Without Supports

On pressure-resistant masonry, the Platin canopy can also be installed without corner supports or side panels, depending on the roof depth:

  • 0.80 m roof depth: up to 3.0 m width without supports
  • 1.00 m roof depth: up to 3.0 m width without supports

Integrated LED Lighting for Stylish Accents

The optional LED lighting package skillfully showcases your entrance area:

  • Indirect lighting: one-third of the light shines downwards for soft light in the entrance area, two-thirds upwards for stylish accentuation of the facade
  • Even illumination all around: LED strips on all four sides of the canopy
  • Complete package: LED strips, splash-proof transformer (IP65, 75 W, 25 V) and motion detector (optionally available without motion detector)
  • Inconspicuous, secure installation: transformer integrated directly under the glass in the frame-gutter profile

Ein 10 mm starkes, klares Verbundsicherheitsglas (VSG). Es ist besonders bruchsicher und hält bei einer Beschädigung die Scherben zusammen.

Auf druckfestem Mauerwerk bis 3,0 m Breite – sowohl bei 0,8 m als auch bei 1,0 m Dachtiefe. Größere Maße werden mit Stütze oder Seitenteil ausgeführt.

Umlaufende LED-Strips an allen vier Seiten leuchten indirekt – etwa ein Drittel nach unten für den Eingang, zwei Drittel nach oben zur Betonung der Fassade. Enthalten sind ein spritzwassergeschützter Trafo (IP65, 75 W) und optional ein Bewegungsmelder; der Trafo ist unsichtbar im Rinnenprofil integriert.

Über eine 3-seitige Aluminium-Regenrinne und einen Wasserspeier (Position 11); ab 2.500 mm Breite über zwei Speier (Position 8/11), optional verdeckt durch die Eckstütze.

Die Tragkonstruktion besteht aus pulverbeschichtetem Aluminium (jede RAL-Farbe) oder Edelstahl. Als Dach- und Seitenteil-Füllung kommen je nach Modell Aluminium, Verbundsicherheitsglas (VSG), Alu- oder Echtholz-Sprossen zum Einsatz.

Die Vordächer werden als vorgefertigte, montagefertige Elemente geliefert – ohne aufwendige Montage vor Ort. Auf Wunsch bieten wir auch die fachgerechte Montage durch unser Team an.

Ein kleines Haustürvordach ist in den meisten Bundesländern verfahrensfrei. Bei Denkmalschutz oder wenn das Vordach in den öffentlichen Straßenraum ragt, sollte vorab das Bauamt kontaktiert werden.

Ja. Neben Standardgrößen fertigen wir Sonderkonstruktionen nach Maß. Optional sind u. a. LED-Beleuchtung (Punkt-Spots oder umlaufender Streifen, auch mit Bewegungsmelder) sowie ein im Seitenteil integrierter Briefkasten mit Klingelanlage erhältlich.
