Discover the new fastening solution for our Platin on Substructure model range! This technique enables the installation of a cantilevered aluminum canopy that can withstand high snow loads and cover large roof areas without support posts.

What Makes the Platin Canopy on Substructure So Special?

Unlike conventional cantilevered canopies, which are mounted directly to the wall and exert high forces on the frame profile, our innovation uses a special substructure of brackets and wall plates. This technique offers the following advantages:

  • Optimal Stability: Loads are not transferred directly to the wall but are absorbed by the substructure.
  • Flexibility: The brackets can be positioned variably depending on the load.
  • Concealed Installation: The substructure remains invisible after installation.
  • Large Spans: Support distances of up to 6.5 meters possible.
  • High Snow Loads up to 300 kg/m²: Depending on the altitude of the customer's project, we adjust the number of substructure brackets. This allows us to flexibly adapt the statics – usable even in snowy regions, without compromising safety.
  • Compatible with all Platin side panel variants and corner posts.
  • Optional LED Lighting: 1 transformer, 3 spotlights, motion sensor.

Technical Details (245 mm)

  • Substructure: Cantilever brackets and wall plate (concealed within the canopy)
  • Upper Cladding: Aluminum, uncoated
  • Lower Cladding: Closed aluminum panels
  • Drainage: 1 spout (standard position 11); for canopy width > 2,500 mm, two spouts (position 8/11)
  • Support Bracket: Galvanized wall plate 200 x 200 x 15 mm (prepared for M16/M12), galvanized flat bar 70 x 12 mm

Efficient Drainage

The Platin canopy features a hidden, pyramid-shaped folded aluminum cladding that efficiently drains water – optionally via a side gargoyle or concealed through the corner post or closed side panel.

Statt die Wand direkt zu belasten, trägt ein verdecktes Tragwerk aus Schwertauslegern und Wandplatten die Lasten. So sind große, freitragende Vordächer ohne sichtbare Stützen möglich – das Tragwerk bleibt nach der Montage unsichtbar.

Bis zu 300 kg/m². Je nach Höhenlage passen wir die Anzahl der Tragwerk-Schwerter an und dimensionieren die Statik entsprechend – auch für schneereiche Regionen.

Durch die Tragwerkstechnik sind Stützabstände von bis zu 6,5 Metern realisierbar – ideal für breite Eingänge und große Dachflächen.

Ja, das Modell Platin auf Tragwerk ist mit Gebrauchsmusterschutz (Nr. 30 2024 111 378.9) angemeldet.

Die Tragkonstruktion besteht aus pulverbeschichtetem Aluminium (jede RAL-Farbe) oder Edelstahl. Als Dach- und Seitenteil-Füllung kommen je nach Modell Aluminium, Verbundsicherheitsglas (VSG), Alu- oder Echtholz-Sprossen zum Einsatz.

Über eine verdeckte, gekantete Aluminium-Eindeckung wird das Wasser gezielt abgeleitet – wahlweise über einen seitlichen Wasserspeier oder optional verdeckt durch die Eckstütze bzw. das geschlossene Seitenteil.

Die Vordächer werden als vorgefertigte, montagefertige Elemente geliefert – ohne aufwendige Montage vor Ort. Auf Wunsch bieten wir auch die fachgerechte Montage durch unser Team an.

Ein kleines Haustürvordach ist in den meisten Bundesländern verfahrensfrei. Bei Denkmalschutz oder wenn das Vordach in den öffentlichen Straßenraum ragt, sollte vorab das Bauamt kontaktiert werden.

Ja. Neben Standardgrößen fertigen wir Sonderkonstruktionen nach Maß. Optional sind u. a. LED-Beleuchtung (Punkt-Spots oder umlaufender Streifen, auch mit Bewegungsmelder) sowie ein im Seitenteil integrierter Briefkasten mit Klingelanlage erhältlich.
