Discover the new mounting solution for our Platin Cantilever Awning series! This revolutionary technology enables the installation of a self-supporting aluminum canopy that does not require any supports, even with high snow loads and large roof areas.

What makes Platin Cantilever Awning so special?

Unlike conventional self-supporting canopies, which are mounted directly on the wall and exert high forces on the frame profile, our innovation uses a special supporting structure made of cantilever beams and wall plates. This technology offers the following advantages:

  • Optimal stability: Loads are not transferred directly to the wall but are absorbed by the supporting structure.
  • Flexibility: The supports can be positioned variably depending on the load.
  • Concealed mounting: After installation, the supporting structure remains invisible.
  • Large spans: Support distances of up to 5.8 meters are possible.
  • High snow loads of 85 kg/m²: Can be used even in snowy regions without compromising safety.
  • Compatible with all Platin side panel variants and corner supports.
  • Optional LED lighting: 1 transformer, 3 spotlights, motion detector.
  • Increased snow loads through additional supporting cantilevers (on request)

The Platin Cantilever Awning has been registered with utility model protection (No. 30 2024 111 378.9). This gives you a unique, high-quality product that enhances your property both visually and functionally.

Technical details of the Platin Awning (245 mm):

  • Supporting structure: Cantilever beams and wall plate (concealed within the awning)
  • Upper decking: Uncoated aluminum
  • Lower decking: Closed aluminum panels
  • Drainage: 1 gargoyle (standard position 11); for roof width > 2,500 mm: 2 gargoyles (position 8/11)
  • Components of the supporting cantilever:
    • Galvanized wall plate 200 x 200 x 15 mm, pre-drilled for M16 / M12
    • Galvanized flat material 70 x 12 mm

Efficient drainage

The Platin awning features a hidden, pyramid-folded aluminum decking that specifically drains water. Drainage can be done:

  • Via a side gargoyle

  • Optional: Concealed by the corner support or by the closed side panel
