Aluminum Canopy with Aluminum Panel Infill – Platin 125 Model

The "Platin" aluminum canopy with aluminum panel infill is the flat, modern roof for your entrance area: it reliably protects against wind and weather, emphasizes the character of your house, and forms a cohesive, stylish unit. Thanks to its low frame height of 125 mm and flat design, the Platin model is particularly suitable for low installation heights above the front door.

Efficient Drainage

The Platin canopy features a hidden, pyramid-shaped folded aluminum roofing that specifically drains water – either via a side gargoyle or optionally concealed through the corner support or the closed side panel.

Cantilevered or with Supports?

On pressure-resistant masonry, installation is permitted even without corner supports or side panels:

  • up to 4.20 m width with 0.8 m roof depth
  • up to 3.60 m width with 1.0 m roof depth
  • up to 3.00 m width with 1.2 m roof depth

Thanks to its flat design with a frame height of only 125 mm, the Platin 125 model is particularly suitable for low mounting heights above the entrance door and blends discreetly into the facade.

On pressure-resistant masonry, cantilevered mounting without corner supports is permitted: up to 4.20 m width at 0.8 m roof depth, up to 3.60 m at 1.0 m roof depth and up to 3.00 m at 1.2 m roof depth. Larger dimensions are built with a support or side panel.

Standard is a closed aluminum side panel. On request, side panels made of VSG laminated safety glass, with aluminum glazing bars or with real wood glazing bars are available.

The load-bearing structure is made of powder-coated aluminum (any RAL color) or stainless steel. Depending on the model, the roof and side panel infills consist of aluminum, laminated safety glass (VSG), aluminum or real wood glazing bars.

A concealed, folded aluminum roof covering channels the water in a controlled way - either via a lateral water spout or, optionally, concealed through the corner support or the closed side panel.

The porch roofs are delivered as prefabricated, ready-to-install elements - without extensive assembly on site. On request, we also offer professional installation by our team.

A small front door porch roof is exempt from permits in most federal states. In the case of listed buildings or if the porch roof extends into the public street space, the building authority should be contacted in advance.
