Fence Posts for Double-Rod Mesh and Ornamental Fences
The post decides whether a fence is still perfectly aligned after ten years. We stock the system posts to match our fence packages – in the standard profile 60 x 40 mm, as corner posts in 60 x 60 mm.
Which post type suits which fence?
Type VP and VS hold the double-rod mesh panel directly against the tube with a stainless steel clamping plate or a stainless steel clamping element. The panel sits visibly in front of the post, and installation is quick and needs few small parts.
Type VAP guides the panel into a profiled cover strip. This makes the fence look calmer and more like a continuous surface, because the fastening disappears behind the strip. The cover strip, stainless steel screws and plastic cap are included in delivery.
Choosing the right post length
Our posts are designed to be set in concrete, so their length is around 500 mm greater than the fence height: 1300 mm for a fence height of 806 mm, 1500 mm for 1006 mm, 1700 mm for 1206 mm. If you prefer to bolt them down, cut the post to length on site and push the base plate adapter into the tube from below – you will find the matching base plates under Base Plates, Anchors & Screws.
